Sweet Dream's Brownie Bites with Fudge Frosting

Had an image today on how I would make a perfect brownie consisting of brownie + fudge. If you like eating a mouthful of sugar you've come to the right place! I'll write a slightly different post today showing step by step instructions as well as pros and cons of the recipes. I think this will provide a better understanding for the lovely readers on the recipe results!

Brownies

Makes approximately 15-18 brownie bites

  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 eggs
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

  • 1. Grease Mini Cupcake Pan with oil or butter

2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
3.
In a mixing bowl, combine oil, sugar, and vanilla.

4. Beat in egg

This is good!

5. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt; gradually stir into the egg mixture until well blended.

Make sure all the lumps are out by using a spatula

Fill mini cupcake pan with a cookie scoop (or with a tablespoon) approx 2/3 full

Cookie Scoop

 6. Bake for 14 minutes for a full bake. I would try 10 minutes for a under baked center. While you're baking the brownies, start making the fudge frosting!
These were baked for 14 minutes

Fudge Frosting

Makes just enough to frost all brownie bites above

  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 dash vanilla extract

1. Combine the milk, butter, and sugar together in a saucepan and bring to a boil; allow to cook at a rolling boil for 30 seconds and immediately remove from heat.

2. Add the chocolate chips and vanilla to the milk mixture and stir until the chips are completely melted.

3. Transfer to another bowl to cool down slightly (Approximately 5 minutes). The fudge will still be warm, with the consistency being much thicker. You should be able to round the fudge into a ball with it drooping slightly right after

4. Using the cookie scoop again, scoop one full spoon of fudge and place it on top of each brownie. Flatten down with a spatula (or fingers is fine too)!

I'd love feedback on how i'm doing and whether or not i'm providing enough information and concise steps on the baking process. Please do comment if you have time :) Thank you for reading!
